Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

EASE Look is provided by EASE IT Group Pty Ltd (ACN 701 452 726) ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information EASE Look collects, how we use and protect it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Data we collect

  • Account: email address, and if you sign in with Google or Apple, the identity Google/Apple share with us (typically name and email).
  • Profile: display name, body type, clothing sizes, preferred/avoided colours, style goals, and location, if you choose to provide them.
  • Wardrobe photos: photos you take or upload of your clothing, plus AI-generated "clean listing" versions of those photos.
  • Wardrobe data: category, colour, brand, fabric, and other attributes our AI infers from your photos; outfits and outfit boards you create; your packing trips and calendar entries.
  • Body-profile photos and measurements: if you use the Body Profile feature, optional front/side/back photos of your body, plus measurements you choose to enter (height, weight, chest, waist, hips, shoulder, inseam, clothing sizes), used to generate AI fit and body-shape guidance. See "Photos of your body or face" below for how these are handled specifically.
  • Colour/skin analysis: if you use the Colour Analysis feature, a photo of your face/skin, used once to determine your seasonal colour palette. See "Photos of your body or face" below — this photo itself is not stored on our servers.
  • Style inspiration photos: images you save of looks or outfits you want to emulate (not necessarily photos of you), plus the AI-generated aesthetic label, mood description, colour palette, and key-piece list we derive from them.
  • AI-generated outfit composites: preview images our AI generates showing several of your wardrobe items combined into a single outfit, when you use that feature.
  • Stylist chats: messages you send to the AI stylist and its replies.
  • Feedback and bug reports: anything you submit through the in-app feedback form, plus basic device/browser information you send with a bug report.
  • Usage analytics: which features you use and pages you visit, tied to a random session identifier, not to advertising identifiers.
  • Location: if you grant permission, your approximate coordinates are used to show local weather — this is sent directly to a weather API and is not stored on our servers.
  • Subscription status: whether you have an active EASE Look Pro subscription and through which platform, so paid features unlock correctly.

Photos of your body or face

Two features process photos of you specifically, rather than photos of clothing, and we want to be precise about each:

  • Body Profile: if you choose to upload front, side, and/or back photos of yourself, each one is uploaded to our file storage under your account and sent to our AI provider (Lovable AI Gateway) to generate body-shape and fit guidance — the AI is instructed not to identify you or describe your face, only silhouette and proportions. The photos and your entered measurements are stored until you either remove the photos yourself (Body Profile → clear photos, which deletes them from storage immediately) or delete your account. The AI's text output (body type, fit recommendations, style notes) is stored separately from the photos and is not automatically cleared when you remove the photos — only when you delete your account.
  • Colour Analysis: the photo you provide for this feature is sent directly to Lovable AI Gateway for one-time analysis and is not uploaded to or retained in our file storage at all — our servers never write it to disk or a database. Only the AI's derived results (undertone, seasonal palette, recommended colours, styling advice, as hex codes and text) are saved to your account, and you can delete that result at any time from the Colour Analysis page, or it is deleted automatically when you delete your account.

We do not control how long Lovable AI Gateway itself retains a photo after processing it — that is governed by their own systems and terms, not ours; this policy only describes what EASE Look's own servers store.

Why we collect it

To operate the core product: digitising your wardrobe, generating AI outfit suggestions and styling advice, letting you plan trips and track cost-per-wear, and providing customer support. Analytics help us understand which features are useful. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Where it's stored

Your account, profile, wardrobe data, and photos are stored in a Supabase-hosted Postgres database and file storage, access-controlled so each account can only read its own data. The application itself runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Our service providers (listed below) may store or process your information outside Australia — including in the United States and other countries where they or their sub-processors operate, and AI processing is performed by models hosted overseas. We only use providers that apply appropriate security and privacy protections to the information they handle for us.

Third parties we share data with

  • Supabase: our database, authentication, and file storage provider.
  • Lovable AI Gateway: processes photos and text you provide — wardrobe items, body-profile photos, colour-analysis photos, and style-inspiration images — to identify clothing, analyse fit and colouring, and generate styling suggestions, via underlying AI models.
  • Stripe: processes web subscription payments. We never see or store your card details.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play: process in-app subscription payments on iOS and Android respectively, under their own privacy policies.
  • Open-Meteo: a weather data provider we query with your approximate coordinates to show local weather; this request does not include any account information.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, wardrobe data, body-profile data, colour-analysis results, and inspiration photos for as long as your account is active, or until you delete a specific item yourself where that's supported (wardrobe items, inspirations, colour-analysis results, and body-profile photos can each be removed individually; body-profile measurements and AI text results persist until account deletion). Feedback and bug reports may be kept after account deletion for product-quality purposes, but are disassociated from your account at that point.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger zone in the app, or on the web at easeitlook.com/delete-account — no need to have the app installed. Deletion removes every photo you've stored with us under your account — wardrobe photos, body-profile photos, style-inspiration photos, and AI-generated outfit composites — your colour-analysis results, and every other database record tied to your account. The photo removal is verified before your account record itself is removed: if any of your files can't be confirmed deleted, the account deletion is stopped and reported back to you as an error rather than silently completing, so you're never told your data is gone when it isn't. Deletion also cancels your web (Stripe) subscription if you have one; Apple or Google subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play, since only Apple/Google can control billing on their platforms.

Permissions on mobile

The EASE Look app requests camera access only when you choose to photograph an item, photo library access only when you choose to select an existing photo, and location access only to show local weather — each is requested at the moment it's needed, never in advance, and you can decline or revoke any of them in your device Settings without losing access to the rest of the app.
